I created Purple Brilliance because having spent over 20 years in the corporate world with all its rewards and challenges, I want to help shape a world where leadership is value led, authentic, empathetic and participatory.

I am a qualified executive coach, accredited to the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and I offer coaching and mentoring that is not only person centric but acknowledges the systems and environment in which business and leadership exist.

I am passionate about advocating for diversity in the workplace, environmental sustainability and helping people develop, grow and reach their full potential. These values are front and centre of my coaching, mentoring and consulting work.

I have a Masters Degrees in Engineering and in Environmental Management, as well as an MBA where I specialised in the concept of ‘Shared Leadership’: the kind of leadership that is collaborative, inclusive and forward thinking, and not centred around egotistical personalities.

I started my career as an engineer and have worked in some extremely challenging environments. I have led large engineering and maintenance functions and although my experience has been overwhelmingly positive and rewarding, I have at times had to navigate gender assumptions and biases. I have frequently been the only female on the site or in the board room. I am passionate about changing this dynamic and promoting diversity in decision making.

Building confidence and resilience has been critical to my career and I have benefited hugely from being coached and mentored myself. Now is the time to pay it forward.
